hi,
I have 4 color cameras with composite video output. All i want to do is to multiplex one of the cameras to a transmitter. Can any of NI multiplexer cards can be used for this application?

Hi grte,
Absolutely.  You'll want to design sufficient connectivity between the cameras to the switch and the switch to the transmitter.
The PXI-2595 is a 5 GHz, 50 ? characteristic impedance, 4x1 Multiplexer with direct SMA connectivity.  I believe it would work well in this application.  A lower cost option that may be better suited for this composite video application is the PXI-2554.  It is a 2.5 GHz, 75 ? characteristic impedance, 4x1 Multiplexer with direct mini SMB connectivity.  Both modules offer excellent insertion loss, VSWR, and isolation specifications.
Let me know if you have further questions!
